How soon after giving birth, can a female dog come into heat?

My dog had pups nine weeks ago. Is it possible that she is in heat again?

Dogs come into heat every 3 to 8 months - depending on size, breed, and age. So, yes it is possible that she could be in heat again.

I think they can come into heat again. But please DONT BREED HER. She needs rests in between litters. Give her maybe another 2-3 heat before you breed her again or better yet you could get her fixed

Why don't you talk to your vet about that as it would be time for mama & pups to have a checkup anyway.
While you are there why don't you talk about having her spayed so an accident like this doesn't happen again.
