Every dog is different. Most go once or twice a day and others go more. How many times does your dog go? If it's not every day, then he needs to see a vet. If he has diarrhea, and its been on going, he Also needs to see a vet. Good Luck!

I agree with Kali your dog should be going at least once a day. My dog goes out three tines a day. If you dog is not going once a day take it to the vet ASAP.
