i am very sorry orea but you are greatly mistaken.
yes every mastiff can be different.
i contacted a friend of mine who ownes 2 female english mastiffs from reputable breeders. she said at 5 months her pups were between 50-55 pounds.
if your pup looks skinny or unhealthy that is always an indication.
you can always go to a vet. they will be able to tell you if the pup is healthy or not.

What is more important than weight is body condition. The larger the breed the more important to control weight and rate of growth. Switching to an adult chow for the larger breeds at 4-5 months along with keeping it lean, slows growth and helps develop sturdier joints.

Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest. You should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them. Each dog is different. Standard recommendations are a good place to start, but each dog must have its food and exercise adjusted to its individual needs. Here is a link to a good illustrated guide,

Blackie is correct around 50-55 pounds. As for food since they are a large breed you will want to continue feeding a large breed puppy food. They need the extra nutrients that is in the large breed puppy food. Switching to adult food in a large breed can be harmful in reguards to bone growth.
