DAISY MAE

How do I find find a foster home or rescue shelter to take my dog?

I love my shar pei, Daisy, but due to my husband's health problems I can't keep her. I have been trying to find her a home but with no luck. I live in Crescent Oklahoma. It is VERY IMPORTANT that she finds a new home as quickly as possible. She is causing my husband serious respiratory problems. I've had to put her outside. But after coming in from feeding and petting her, my husband has asthma attacks from being around me. Please I'm worried about my husband but do not know what to do about giving her away. I will wave any adoption fees with the promise that she will be loved and cared for. If you are interested please email me and I can answer any questions you may have about Daisy.

You say you got her from a friend who bred her. Contact that friend. Maybe she knows someone who is interested in a slightly older purebred like daisy, many people do not want the hassle of housetraining a puppy and one year is still very young. I bet a lot of people would be interested!
Good breeders should always be willing to help find new homes for their puppies if something goes wrong. Maybe Daisy could even stay with her while you search for a new home.

DO NOT give her away for FREE! If someone isn't willing to pay an adoption fee they will not be willing to pay for vet bills when the need arises. Agree with the other post, contact the breeder. Also go to www.petfinder.com and search for a breed rescue in your area. Paw mail me with your area and I will try to help.
