<title>House-trained dog peeing when he gets ready to go out? Answers at Dogster Answers.</title>
		<link>http://www.dogster.com/answers/question/house_trained_dog_peeing_when_he_gets_ready_to_go_out-67667</link>
<description>I have a 6 or 7 month old puppy, we believe he is some sort of boxer/pit mic (his papers said lab/hound but the vet said that's definitely not it). At night, he has a crate he sleeps in and he does very well but as soon as we're by the front door and I'm putting his leash on, he will pee all over the entryway or he'll pee in the hallway and the stairs outside (we live in an apartment building). We take him out multiple times a day and doesn't really have any other accidents throughout the day, just at the front door.

Is there anything we can do to help him from peeing in the house or stairs? I try to clean it up when it's on the stairs but the apartment management still complain.
