Hi I have a 1 1/2 yr old dog. He is a hunting breed and has latley been aggresive.

He is aggresive towards our german shepeard that is about 8 yr old. He has bitten and I guess you could say attacked her for even getting close to something of his for example a favorite toy or an animal he may have caught. I would like to fix the problem before it gets out of hand as he is still young.

i had the same problem with my 3 dogs which are German shepherd 7 years old, staffie a year old and Nikita 9 weeks they are possessive over their stuff, and do tend to see her of and sometimes lunge for her. best thing to do is separate him and her whenever he has his toys out or let him play alone with them in a area. Also because hunting is in his blood he will obviously be more aggressive but it will be so much easier to stop while he is young.
