Does a wirehaired dachshund need professional grooming??

A wire haired dachshund does need grooming and it just depends on weather you can do it or not if you have to go to a doggy salon. :X here is a helpful link explains the whole thing.

I have a mini wirehair dachshund and i get him groomed professionally 2x a year (the beginning of summer and at the end of summer). They do not have to be groomed all the time unless their fur tends to get matted quickly or if you plan on showing your doxie.
