Dog licking carpet? Answers at Dogster Answers.

My pup kinda makes a swallowing noise repeatedly and licks the carpet while walking around, and when I tell him to come, he has some liquid bubbles on his muzzle and lips. I think it is saliva, but I'm not sure. This happens every so often, but I haven't seen any other symptoms yet. Anyone know of such a thing happening in dogs?

Has he got his rabies vaccine??? Are the bubbles foamy? Did you happen to spill anything on the carpet or has another dog come over and be near the carpet??? He might be smelling something but I'm not sure about the liquid bubbles... Talk to your vet.
