The smell may indicate a secondary bacterial infection.
As a herding dog they may not be able to treat the mange with Ivermectin. Has she been prescribed and other medication? Goodwinol or antibacterial ointments?
Aside from that, a healthy diet to get her immune system working at peak effeciency so the mites will stay under control.

Petri

Besides the shampoo, they can try PETfection Deodorizer/Allergy Spray. It is 100% Organic and Non Toxic so they can spray it on the stinky spots as often as needed. It is designed to combat odors and heal any wounds, dryness, inflammation, etc. You can check it out at www.mypetfection.com. Good luck!
