Does an Australian Shepherd shed a lot?

On a scale from 1-20. And how does it shed, like in clumps or strands? And does it shed year round? Does it shed more then a GSD? Please answer all of the questions, thanks!

I'm pretty sure they shed but i've never owned one. Probably in strande, and i would say it would shed year round maybe slowing down in the winter. But I don't know. Good Luck!

yep, they are shedders. The have an undercoat, same applies to gsd's. Buy an undercoat rake and gently use that.
It is that time of year again.

I'd say more strands then clumps and only a couple times a year it gets really bad. But, if you brush them, it's not usually a problem.
