Yes they do alot!!!! I had one for ten years and it never shed, though when she died I bought two sisters. One malts and the other doesn't. I took her to the vets and she is completly healthy. The vet said its not the first one brought to her with the same problem. It can be caused by a difficult birth, the smaller pup of a big litter or simply for carrying more of the vision gene and if the mother is a Maltese.
