Things that help for Bruno's carsickness...

1. Riding in a large, very stable vehicle that doesn't rock around as much. (He didn't throw up ONCE all the way from AZ to OR in a big rig truck.)
2. Sitting in the front passenger seat instead of in the back.
3. Sticking his head out the window.
4. Ginger treats- I give a ginger cookie with peanut butter and extra dried ginger smeared on it. No vomiting on those days, hoorah!

So now whenever we go on a trip, he gets his ginger snacky 20 minutes before we leave, he sits in the front with the window down halfway, and I try to drive smoothly and not accelerate, brake, or corner too fast. Seems to be working. I still keep paper towels in the car just in case, though.

Dieta

crates with towel over the top works wonders for pukers.
My old dog long ago would poop each time. not good thing.
you can try that, it is the motion of the car, she might or might not get over it.
empty stomachs help also.

Billie Bob

Some dogs just get car sick. I have one who still, to this day does, he is 7 years old now. Doesn't matter if he rides in front, in back - in small cars, or big pick up trucks - smooth rides or bumpy, can see out - or can't see out, 1 mile - or 20 miles; he gets sick. Even car sickness medication has never helped him.
Put down some towels or blankets, be prepared to wipe drool from her mouth - and just try to make the best of it. Some dogs will eventually grow out of it, some never do...

Bailey

My puppy doesn't get carsick, but my Dad told me that his old dog (Bandit) did, and to solve it, they tied a chain to anywhere underneath their car, which helps the static caused by the wheels, preventing Bandit from getting carsick.

It may seem a little bit confusing (it did to me), but basically any chain tied to the underneath of the car, and letting it drag behind the vehicle while driving will probably help the carsickness.

If you need more info, feel free to pawmail me!
Good luck!
