Can you please help us identify what breed our puppy could be.
We adopted our puppy from a shelter one month ago, but they could not tell us what breed he was. My husband and I are not very familiar with the different types of breeds, so any help would be appreciated. He is almost 11 weeks old and is 12 pounds. He gained 6 pounds in the last month, and he has had parvo during that time as well. He is very active and extremely social. He takes a very long time on walks because he has to sniff everything, and sometimes he lifts his front leg like I've seen hound dogs do. What do you think? Thanks for your help. :)

He's a crazy mix! I think the reason's no one has answered this yet is because he's a mystery... I see a little hound or beagle, and the sniffing supports that... Maybe also some collie and possible shepherd or chow.

I was thinking Beagle/Shepherd like the other poster mentioned. He is certainly a unique dog!
