Can you earn Zealies, or do you have to buy them?

you have to buy them, they have it to where you can buy them and pay $19.00 monthly.
Or the thing i would do if i were you, start answering questions, you might get voted best answer, if you do, you get three zealies, i saved up and had a lot.......... but, then.... i used them!!!! :)
i just dont buy them monthly, i just dont wanna pay for something like that, but hey.... you can if you want to! to bad they are not free.

You get 3 Zealies if your answer is selected as best when the OP closes a question. Look back at older questions, and you will see some of them are closed with one answer selected as best. Not sure otherwise.

Both.
There are two ways to earn zealies right now:
-Get selected best answer (3 zealies
-Participate in and win the weekly photo caption contest (25 or 50)

You can also earn some during the annual World's Coolest Dog and Cat Show, basically an online photo contest.

There are many ways to earn zealies on here and get zealies.

You can enter the photo caption contest.

You can earn zealies if your answer is chosen as the best.

You can buy zealies from Dogster.

People on Dogster can give you zealies if they want to.

If you go to the forums, sometimes there will be contest where someone will be giving out zealies and you may have a chance to win.

There are so many more ways to win zealies!

You can play Dogster's breed photo game. Everytime you get a breed right you get a point (You can play different levels 1-3 points). You have to get 1,000 points to get 25 zealies.

You don't have to buy zealies. You get a monthly allotment to your account. Click above on My Account and take a look at #7. There you will see how many zealies you have and when you get your next allotment. Yes, they "roll over" from month to month.
You can give your pals a rosette or special gift by clicking on the small gift box under their main picture.
Dogster is Free but you can sign up for the Plus account. That costs 19.00 year.
