Can you breed a miniature schnauzer (about 15-17 pounds) with a toy schnauzer (about 10-12 pounds)?

Yes, i just saw a Pug/Lab mix which is quite a size difference lol, as long as their in the same weight range it should be fine.

There are 3 types of schnauzer..Giant, Standard, & Miniature....No such thing as a toy schnauzer. Marketing fad or poor breeding..I have even seen teacup, teacup toy & teacup toy mini schnauzers advertised for sale... *head desk.
It sounds like you need to do a lot more research before you start to think about breeding. Look at your breed standards. What do you hope to achieve through this mating? Are you prepared for your dog to possibly die in the process? Are both dogs health tested..not just a vet saying "Yep..theys some healthy dawgs" Do you have homes for the puppies? Will you take care of said puppies for life if they don't work out in their homes? Do you have thousands of dollars put aside just in case you need an emergency caesarian delivery at 2:00 AM?
Breeding is a huge responsibility and is best left to professionals. Please speuter your dogs and love them the way they are.
