I treated them and they went away. It's been about 3 months and she has another infestation. I have found nearly 100 so far, all dead and very small. So, once they are off, the only way more will get on is if your dog goes where they are. I would definitely keep a monthly preventative on her at all times to help prevent them. The good news, seed ticks do not normally carry tick diseases as they are just hatched and having their first meal so have no exposure yet.

You can get it from your vet. Since she's had so many ticks, I would also have her tested for tick borne diseases. Good Luck!
