Can someone please suggest a good quality, reasonably priced, wet food. Thanks!
Kiki needs to eat only wet food now as she has to have her remaining teeth removed and I wanted to hear some suggestions for reasonably priced wet foods. We live in Canada also so if you know they're available here that would be great :)
Thank you.

I do find the cans expensive, even a small dog can rack up big food bills.
The least expensive, good quality food I found is Chicken Soup For the Dog Lover's Soul, and Natures Balance. They run about $1.50 for a 13 ounce can.
Have you considered home cooking and freezing in small batches? I cook in bulk, ground meat, like chicken, beef, pork and chicken livers. I add shredded carrots, zucchini, sometimes apples, berries or other veggies or fruit. I will add some grain, but I prefer Quinoa to the cheaper grains. It's a more useable protein for dogs. I grind up egg shells in a coffee grinder (not used for anything else). It might be easier to just add a supplement.
Very easy. I find canned foods are sticky, while my homemade is not so it's easier to eat.
Oh my doG! I read her page. Poor baby! I'm so glad you rescued her. I wish the punishment fit the crime in Puppy mill cases!

I would definitely look into dehydrated food. It comes in different sized bags and it looks kind of like instant mashed potatoes. A little goes a long way, since you add water to make it "whole" again. To get the same amount, you'd have to buy A LOT of cans, and the cost for all that packaging would add up.
Here's an example:

Like I said, it's just something to look into. Maybe check out your local pet stores to see if they carry anything like it.
I hope everything goes well Kiki, Mini and momma. :)

You can check out Holistic Select. I know they make good quality food in both dry and canned form. I am not sure how much the cans cost, but you can always mix it with some dry food if it is more than you want to spend. Check out their website to see if they carry it in your area in Canada.
