can dog take Deramaxx for long term

My 7 years old Lhasa Apso take Deramaxx for her leg injure from running. Her vet gives to her for almost 3 months. I can tell she is improve, but I want to take a second opinion if she has to take for long term what she should do to avoid any bad thing to her health. Thank you.
