A large breed puppy food if you want to go the kibble route. dogfoodadvisor and dogfoodanalysis.com are good sites to compare and rate dog food. Other options include Raw or Homemade, which take research to do properly. If you are interested in those, check out the corresponding forums under the community section on the top right of the page.

You need to buy a large breed puppy food. The reason for this is that large breeds are more prone to developmental disorders of the bones, and nutrition during the growing period should be designed with that in mind.
You should seek out a high-quality brand. High-quality means it uses natural ingredients, does not have a lot of fillers, and is at least fairly meat-heavy. There are literally hundreds of fantastic brands, and the "best" is really just a matter of opinion. Here are some great brands:

I use the Natural Choice food for large breed puppies for my big dogs. I liked the fact that it is an all natural food. The other thing I like about it is that it has stuff in it for the dogs joints.
