anyone know of a Maremma Sheepdog rescue???
These people want to surrender a 2 year old Maremma Sheepdog to the rescue i volunteer for, 4 paws rescue, we would take her, The only problem is she is VERY dog aggressive and is not socialized at all, she needs to go to somewhere that has experience with the maremma breed, they are a lifestock guard breed and that's just how the breed is. we are thinking of surrendering her to a breed specific rescue, like a maremma or LGD (lifestock guardian dog) rescue. so does anyone know of a LGD or maremma sheepdog rescue, that is in a state near utah?? thank you!! oh and here is the link to her page....

Try this website. I googled it. I couldn't find a rescue on it, but it has breeders. Sometimes breeders will put you in contact with rescues or rescue a dog themselves. Kali's breeder has taken in a few dogs that people couldn't handle. So maybe someone listed on this website will do the same. Good Luck!
