Any suggestion on chew proof dog beds.

At 28 pounds I may not look like a big, tough doggie. But I am! I am a 1 year old Doxle who LOVES to destroy my beds. Anyone know of a dog bed tougher than me?

I'd go check out KONG beds. They are quite expensive, but I'm pretty sure they work.

Also I'd start teaching some chewing rules if you haven't gotten any yet, for instance, saying "No!" and replacing the object she's chewing with a toy she's allowed to have.

Distractions are also good, if you stuff a kong before you go to bed/crate her etc. I'd give it to her, it'll last a LONG time, and when she's finished she'll most likely just fall asleep (mine does at least)

Hope I helped a bit :)

I am going to second the kong beds. I do not know how many beds we went through before i bought one of these. I have had it over a year and it is still holding out just fine. I even went and bought two more I have been so happy with them.

Try K-9 Ballistics dog beds...great quality, durable beds. I found them to be much better quality than the Kong beds. They figured out how to make a bed with less sewing seams and no zipper for the dogs to get started chewing on. They even offer chew proof covers with memory foam or standard fiber fill. I have a great dane and they are the only ones I found that make a bed big enough for Baron. you can use them indoors and outdoors. Customer service is awesome too!
