8 year old German Shepherd Limping?

After running, my 8 1/2 year old German Shepherd starts to limp, usually on her hind legs. It also seems like it is hard for her to get up. She doesn't run alot so we try to get her to. But, always after running she starts to limp. Is it arthisis? Please help me! I hate to see her in pain! Thank you!

This sounds more like an ACL tear- it's one of the ligaments that hold the knee joint together. Better ask a vet for more help.

And in the meantime, don't make her run!
