Vibrant Life Dog Shampoo Review 2025: Pros, Cons & Verdict

Vibrant Life Dog Shampoo - Featured Image
Our Final Verdict

We give Vibrant Life Dog Shampoo a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Effectiveness: 5/5
Safety: 5/5
Gentleness: 3/5
Ease of Use: 5/5

Finding a quality dog shampoo is surprisingly difficult—not only do you need something that works, but you also need a shampoo that won’t dry out your dog’s skin. Sadly, most shampoos out there just are not made with this in mind, and they can lead to irritation, scratching, and redness if used too much.

Vibrant Life Dog Shampoo is a pretty good option for most canines. It is easy to use, with fewer suds than other options. Plus, it’s also extremely safe, with no apparent side effects, and is also very effective.

The only potential problem is that this shampoo isn’t exactly as gentle as other options, which can be a problem for some dogs.

Cons
  • Not very sudsy
  • Not gentle

Specifications

The exact specifications depend on the dog shampoo that you choose. Vibrant Life has quite a few formulations, so there isn’t a clear-cut list of specifications that covers all of their products. For this reason, you’ll need to look at the particular shampoo that you’re purchasing.

In this article, we looked at many different shampoos by this company so that we could give you an over-arching review. Where it matters, we will point out specific formulas.

Effectiveness

For the most part, this brand seems to be rather effective at getting your dog clean and helping them stay clean. It easily removes dirt and grime. Most users found that it keeps their dog’s coat shiny and smooth, as well. Purely focusing on how well this formula cleans, it does a good job.

In fact, there were no complaints about the overall effectiveness of this shampoo. Even if customers didn’t like it for other reasons, they couldn’t complain that it didn’t work.

Ease of Use

Compared to other shampoos, this formula is not very sudsy. You may either like this or hate it, depending on your preference. Quite a few users loved that it didn’t get everywhere when they were using it. Plus, the lack of suds does make it a bit easier to rinse out—there aren’t so many bubbles everywhere!

However, shampoos produce suds for a reason. It helps the shampoo spread throughout the fur easier, which ensures that your dog gets completely clean. Plus, it also allows a smaller amount of shampoo to be used.

Without all the suds, you’re going to spend more time scrubbing and using more product. If you don’t mind this, then this product may be great for you.

Safety

As far as we could tell, no one reported any serious side effects from this shampoo. Because shampoos for dogs are not governed by any regulatory body this is an extremely important aspect to check. We found no complaints of serious effects, so we can easily rate this formula as safe.

Gentleness

Overall, we cannot recommend this product for dogs that have sensitive skin. It just isn’t made for dogs that are easily irritated. There are quite a few reports of this shampoo irritating a dog’s skin and causing dryness. It is obviously not meant for dogs that require a gentler formula.

Therefore, we can only recommend this brand for dogs with normal skin. Don’t know what category your dog falls into? You probably want to go with a more sensitive formula, just in case.

FAQ

Does It Smell Good?

Most people did not report much fragrance with these formulas. Therefore, it is likely that the smell will be more subtle than you expected. At the same time, we didn’t find any major complaints about the smell. So, subtle or not, the smell does not appear to be bad when used on your dog.

In the bottle, it smells pretty good. However, much of this doesn’t transfer or stay on your dog after rinsing.

Is Vibrant Life Shampoo Good for Dogs?

It depends on the dog. It is perfectly fine for some dogs. However, it can lead to irritation and even hair loss for some. It mostly depends on how sensitive your dog is to shampoos and regular bathing.

Is Vibrant Life Shampoo Recommended by Vets?

We’re sure some vet somewhere recommends this formula. There is not a board of veterinarians that officially “recommends” products, so there isn’t exactly an official answer to this.

What the Users Say

Most users were quite positive about this brand. Most found that it worked quickly and efficiently on their dogs. There were some praising the low level of fragrance, which is a great option for those sensitive to smells.

Plus, many users also loved that it doesn’t produce many suds. However, this is largely a matter of personal preference.

With that said, we did find some complaints. There are a few dog owners who reported this shampoo irritating their dog’s skin or even causing their fur to fall out! We expect these dogs have sensitive skin, which is not something this brand tends to cater their shampoos toward.

Conclusion

Overall, we found that this formula was pretty effective on most dogs. It is very safe and does a good job of removing dirt and debris. If you are only basing it on how well it keeps your dog clean, then this formula is a pretty good option.

With that said, we also found that this formula was not good for dogs with sensitive skin. Therefore, if your dog is on the sensitive side of things, you probably want to choose a different brand.
