1. Tony Grampsas Dog Park

  • 5-acre dog park located behind baseball fields
  • Can be tricky to find
  • On and off-leash areas available
  • Plenty of wooded, shaded areas
  • Small stream, bridges, and a washing station available

2. Homer’s Run Dog Park (At Ulysses Battlefield)

Off-Leash: Yes
  • Slightly less than 1 acre and fully fenced
  • Fencing is low, so it’s best suited to smaller dogs
  • Owners are required to carry a leash at all times in case of an emergency
  • Water is provided
  • Plenty of benches and picnic tables in shaded areas

3. Chatfield Dog Park

️ Address: 11500 North Roxborough Park Road, Littleton, CO
Open Times: 5:00 AM–10:00 PM
Cost: Valid park pass: $3 daily pass or a $25 annual pass
Off-Leash: Yes
  • 69-acre off-leash dog park with a double-gated entrance
  • Need to purchase a pass to enter the state park on the way to the dog park ($9 for a daily pass and $80 for the year)
  • Park was originally for hunting dogs

4. Big Dry Creek Dog Park

  • Separate areas for small and large dogs
  • The terrain is made of dirt and gravel

5. West Arvada Dog Park

6. Berkeley Lake Dog Park

  • Park is located inside Berkeley Lake Park
  • Separate fenced areas for small and large dogs
  • Pea gravel keeps paws clean
  • Not much shade
  • Park is noisy due to the nearby amusement park

10. Howard Heuston Off-Leash Dog Area

  • the main public park and is not enclosed
  • Dogs must be leashed in other areas of the park
  • Dogs have to participate in the Boulder Voice and Sight Tag program to use the off-leash area
