There are six amazing dog parks in Tallahassee where you are allowed to let your dog off leash to explore and roam around.

1. Bradfordville Dog Park

2. J. Lee Vause Park and Dog Park

Off-Leash: Yes, in the dog park only
  • Located on the banks of Lake Jackson
  • Includes trails, pavilions, enclosed dog spaces and waterfront views
  • Dogs must be leashed outside of the dog park, but there is plenty to explore on a leash as well

3. Tom Brown Dog Park

  • There is a huge playground for kids nearby, so bring the whole family

  • Dog park is a short walk from the parking lot, follow the trail
  • Large sandy play area for both big dogs and small dogs

5. All Saints Dog Park

  • Park is shaded by large live oak trees

6. Leon Sinks Geological Area

  • Beautiful blue pools are a joy to explore
  • Miles and miles of trails to hike with your canine
  • Park is usually sparsely populated, allowing your dog ample time to sniff around
  • Be sure to keep a leash handy and keep your dog on voice command if you let them off-leash
  • Don’t forget about the entrance fee
