  • The 6 Best Dog Pools

    1. Frisco Dog Swimming Pool – Best Overall

    Frisco Dog Swimming Pool

    Sizes: XX-Large
    Dimensions: 63 in. x 63 in. x 11.8 in.
    Weight: 17 pounds
    Materials: PVC, plastic

The best overall dog pool is the Frisco Dog Swimming Pool. It had everything we were looking for, and it’s suitable for the largest number of canines. This particular model is extra-large, making it big enough for multiple or very large dogs.

There is no need to inflate this pool. You simply unfold it and fill it up with water. It folds down just as easily! You twist the cap off to drain the pool, ensure that any residual water is dried up, and fold it up for storage.

We were impressed with the durability of this model. It is made of PVC and nylon mesh for puncture protection. It even comes with a patch kit, just in case any accidents happen, and the pool needs to be repaired.

Because of its size, it wouldn’t be as useful for small dogs. It is a little too deep, and a small dog might enjoy the space less. So be mindful of size before you purchase.

    Pros
    • Easy to setup and store
    • Patch kit included
    • Large enough for multi-pets
    Cons
    • May not be ideal small breeds

    2. Frisco Outdoor Swimming Pool – Best Value

    Frisco Outdoor Swimming Pool

    Sizes Small, Large
    Dimensions 31 in. x 31 in. x 7.9 in. (small), 47 x 47 x 11.8 inches (large)
    Weight 10 pounds
    Materials PVC, plastic

If you’re looking for a suitable selection at the best price, let us introduce you to the Frisco Outdoor Swimming Pool. It is very similar to our number one selection, but it’s the best dog pool for the money.

This particular selection comes in two colors: red or blue. You can also choose the size that works better for the canines in your home, whether it be small or large. You don’t need to worry about a complicated setup. You unfold, make sure the plug is intact, and fill up with fresh water.

This unit is made out of PVC, folding out easily so you can take it to the backyard or on another adventure. This is a magnificent middle-ground dog pool that will work for a variety of canine sizes.

It’s easy to drain, easy to store, and easy to love! However, we don’t recommend this particular dog pool for heavy chewers. It simply won’t hold up.

    Pros
    • Ideal for medium and small breeds
    • Affordable
    • Multiple colors
    Cons
    • Not for heavy chewers

    3. K&H Pet Products Dog Pool & Pet Bath – Premium Choice

    Sizes Medium, Large, X-Large
    Dimensions 25 in. x 32 in. x 7 in. (medium), 30 in. x 42 in. x 7 in. (large), 32 in. x 50 in. x 9 in. (x-large)
    Weight 45 pounds
    Materials PVC, plastic

If you’re looking for a really heavy-duty dog pool for large pups, you might love the K&H Pet Products Dog Pool & Pet Bath. This dog pool is one of the more expensive on the list, but it is incredibly durable and well worth it.

We love the rectangular design, making it great for playtime fun, and it even doubles as a bathing station. It is crafted with a metal frame to prevent water spillage or caving. The simple vinyl design does not require any inflation and the setup is very basic.

It is large in size but shallow enough for most pups to enjoy. It includes a drain plug on the side to allow easy drainage. Plus, there are no tools required for assembly making the setup very simple. You simply follow the instructions, and it’ll be a breeze to set up from that point forward.

We can’t say enough good things about this particular dog pool.

    Pros
    • Doubles as a bath
    • Easy no-tool assembly
    • Square design
    Cons
    • Expensive

    4. Pet Adobe Dog Swimming Pool & Bath Tub

    Sizes One Size
    Dimensions 5 in. x 30.5 in. x 12 in.
    Weight 42 pounds
    Materials 42 pounds

If you have a little pup on your hands who can’t wait to splash around, try out the Pet Adobe Dog Swimming Pool and Bath Tub. This particular dog pool is perfect for puppies and small dogs—up to 40 pounds.

We love how straightforward cleaning this pool is. You can simply wash it out with soap and water whenever things get mucked up.

This dog pool is foldable, so you can easily store it while not in use. And if you want to have any away-from-home adventures, it comes with a carrying bag so you can tote it around as needed.

We think it’s a great starter for any young dog. It gives them just the right amount of space to explore without being too overwhelming.

    Pros
    • Easy to clean
    • Comes with storage bag
    • Great for puppies
    Cons
    • Not for medium or large dogs

    5. VISTOP Non-Slip Splash Pad for Dogs

VISTOP Non-Slip Splash Pad for Dogs

    Sizes: 67, 59, 75, 87, and 97 inches
    Dimensions: Varies
    Weight: 39 pounds
    Materials: PVC

The VISTOP Non-Slip Splash Pad for Dogs creates a fun activity for the whole family! It is a play pad that’s only about 6 inches deep, so puppies, large dogs, kids, and anyone can enjoy it. It has multiple squirting selections that make any dog go crazy.

This splash pad is perfect for play and would work well for one dog—or a whole pack. They can freely run around the yard and jump in to cool off. It is a non-slip design, so you don’t have to worry about any significant wipeouts. You can also control the water pressure to find the perfect flow.

There are multiple sizes and colors to choose from so you can pick the best one for your home setup. Made of durable PVC, it is built to hold up throughout the warm months.

This isn’t a traditional pool, so it won’t hold up against harsh treatment and your dog can’t fully submerge or relax. But it surely promotes healthy exercise and play!

    Pros
    • Fun for the whole family
    • Great for all breed sizes
    • Non-slip design
    Cons
    • Not a traditional pool

    6. Jasonwell Foldable Dog Pool

    Jasonwell foldable dog pool

    Sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL
    Dimensions: Varies
    Weight: Varies
    Materials: PVC, Fiberboard

The Jasonwell Dog Pool is a solid choice for pet owners looking for a durable and hassle-free bathing or playtime pool. Its panels are made of tough, high-density fiberboard encased in PVC, providing a sturdy structure that resists buckling even on uneven surfaces. The foldable design makes it super easy to set up and pack away, with no inflation or deflation required.

A built-in drain allows for quick water release, and the non-slip bottom adds a layer of safety during splashy play sessions. While this pool doesn’t come with bonus accessories, its solid build and easy maintenance make it a good value and an easy recommendation. It even comes in a huge range of sizes, all the way from small up to 6XL, meaning there is an option for every dog, from tiny terriers to larger breeds like Great Danes.

Overall, it’s a reliable, well-designed pool that’s built to last.

    Pros
    • Easy set-up and pack down
    • Sizes available for all types of dogs
    • Non-slip design
    • Durable materials
    Cons
    • Doesn’t come with any extras
    • Drain placement is a bit high

Buyer’s Guide: How To Find the Best Dog Pools

Make sure your dog pool checks off all the boxes. When you buy a dog pool, you won’t want a cheap product that’s going to break after the first use. So, here are a few things to consider when you’re making a purchase.

    Correct Size

Get the appropriate size for your dog. For example, you will want a pool that’s a manageable size and deep if you have a small breed. Much the same, you shouldn’t have a tiny pool if your big guy or gal wants to romp around.

    Durable Material

Dogs have hefty claws, and they can easily break through air-filled pools. Getting a pool with durable construction that won’t rip easily or pop is key. Many pools are made of a strong PVC or vinyl material, built to withstand water pressure, heavy play, and nail gouges.

    Easy Draining

Most dog swimming pools have an easy drain on the side that you can simply unscrew and allow the water to run out freely on its own. Because this plug is such a crucial part of the setup, it’s important that it is durable and efficient to prevent leaks.

    Quick Assembly & Disassembly

Most dog pools are designed to fold out instead of being blown up. Blow-up swimming pools will easily get snags and tears, requiring patching or disposal after use. It’s much better to get a design that is made of durable PVC (vinyl) that folds out and back up for easy storage.

    Storage

You should be able to store your dog’s pool away easily without hassle. Many pools fold flat to make things simple and take up less space. Others disassemble so you can break down and box away. Get the kind of pool that works best for your available space.

Our Selection Process For Best Dog Pools

To create this buyer’s guide, our writing team and editorial staff checked customer reviews, brand reputation, and veterinary approval ratings to present the dog pools we think should be highlighted for our readers. In some cases, we conducted hands-on testing along with seeing how much our dogs liked the dog pools. All these factors were considered when selecting these listed dog pools to help you make the best purchase for your furry friends.

    Conclusion

The Frisco Dog Swimming Pool is a really excellent option for a wide selection of pooches. It’s a larger pool, making it ideal for medium to large dogs— or multiple dogs, if you have them. It is quite the communal space, offering a durable, easy setup and storage. It’s definitely our number-one pick.

Frisco Outdoor Swimming Pool is price-friendly if you want an affordable dog pool. It has all the perks of our first pick, only there are size options for smaller dogs, too. So, save a few bucks if you can!

K&H Pet Products Dog Pool & Pet Bath might be a more expensive selection, but we love the setup. It is very durable, rectangular, and easy to assemble. This option is especially good for large dogs who want to relax in the cool of the pool.

No matter which pool struck your fancy, we hope these reviews helped you find exactly what you were looking for.
