I was just thinking that Rosey and Sweetpea would look so cute in hair bows.. But how do you get bows to stay or stick in short haired dogs hair?? Is it even possible? How do you make them or where do you buy them?

This question actually came up in a topknot thread a while back. This is the thread here http://www.dogster.com/forums/Grooming/thread/696913/1

And I believe the only solution was this - http://www.etsy.com/listing/58589616/new-custom-flower-headband-for- dogs-low

I'm not sure but I believe dogster Holly ordered the headbands so you could ask her about them. shrug

Paris doesn't like bows on her topknot, so my mom bought bows with those clippy things on them and puts them on her collar instead.

It's possible. You need hemostats. Wrap the rubber band part of the bow around the tip of the hemos several times. Open slightly, then clamp onto the small hair area, near the top of the hair, and slide the band of the hemo onto the hair. You need small rubber banded bows, the premade bows that you buy are too big, need the size that are used for braces ect
