Mom found out a few days ago that I am a finalist in 2 categories! The Most Naughtiest and Best friends .
Thank you so much everyone for voting for me, its such an honor. Especially being chosen with all those great pictures. Much woofs for those who took their time in voting!
Mom is so happy, she loves Christmas. A true Christmas Fanatic you might call it. :) I love Christmas myself, I mean, who doesn't? All the joy and happiness it brings, and of course, Santa Paws! I wonder what he'll bring in his sleigh this year.
Hoping everyone a great day, and guess what? This year, I'm going up to the mountains with Mom to experience some snow. Mom can't wait to see how I'd react. Would I eat it first and be cautious? You dogs who live in the snow places are lucky ducks! What was your first snow experience like? Can't wait for December and oh, Winter break for Mom. :)
The forecast in California is getting so much colder, the nights are around 40 degrees F. The pups in Alaska must think I'm a baby now don't they? :) Bol! I am, but my mom...she loves it actually. Such a Christmas feel. Get colder already and bring on the snow to South California!
Friday, Cosmo's (Chuppy's fur friend) brother Chester ( a Full Pittie) started a fight with Chuppy.Chuppy didn't bother to fight back, and took every single blow. I was scared of my life and took the hose and sprayed it towards the scene. Cosmo and Chester were both taken back to the house and the owner apologized. I checked Chuppy for any wounds, blood, anything...miraculously, nothing. I was so happy my golden boy was safe and not a bit scarred. What made me laugh was that right away, Chuppy asked for more fetch and I knew he was okay and gave in.
Well yesterday, while I was tossing tossing balls from the Chuck it, I saw Chester was loose running around with its owner chasing it with a leash and a collar. I told Chuppy to get in he house, but right there Chester Lunged at Chuppy. So many flashbacks...My whole family came out and started yelling to break them apart, I started to spray the hose at them. Finally, Chester broke free of Chuppy. Quickly, I brought Chuppy inside where I checked for any signs of wounds, I was shaking so badly thinking "Oh Gosh, he probably has a huge bite wound" Again, Miraculously, none...I was actually crying knowing he was safe.
Chester is dog aggressive, the owner states it isn't their dog, but a friend's dog they are taking care for. My dad walked over to their house to warn them that they have to buy him a new sturdier collar, as well as asking if he had gotten his shots. They agreed, and yes, Chester does have his shots. Also, he also warned that if this happens again, he'll have to contact Animal Control. Its a sad thought for me, but I can't risk Chuppy getting injured. I want him to be safe when we play in the front yard and not be scared that a dog will come out of no where and attack.
Its always a dread, I'm so glad Chuppy's fine. This is the owners fault for sure. They should take responsibility for their dog and not blame someone else.
