Pet Transit of Pittsburgh Great Taxi Service

There is no category for pet transit/taxi services on Dogster so this business doesn't have an accurate category description. At any rate, Pet Transit is a great service for Pittsburgh pooches. They can take you pretty much everywhere. We use them for one-way trips from the groomers, but they can also take you to the vet, daycare, or even the airport! It is also a local family run business. Our driver was John, and he was a really good guy!

Twin Tiers Rescued Me!

My name is Mochi. I was bred by a high volume breeder before Twin Tiers came in and rescued me. I turned into a profit loss for the breeder when my last litter resulted in a C-section. I am thankful they did not kill me. Instead, they gave me to Twin Tiers. Twin Tiers found me a new home w/ lots of love, food, play time, and even trips to see the Pirates play and raising money by participating in various canine walks! I love my new life!! Thank you Twin Tiers!!!!!

Food Selection

I am giving this store five paws because it has the brand of food Mochi can eat. I also thought the store was clean and the employees were nice.

Comfortable and Relaxing Vet Visit

Overall, we had a great first visit with Dr. Hall. I didn't know what to expect, but I felt more welcome here than any other vet clinics I have visited. I didn't feel pressured to buy tons of products, vaccines, or extras. I am also happy that they do 3 year rabies shots instead of annual. I also was able to purchase the heart worm and flea preventives I like rather than getting a sales pitch for another type. We will be going back to this vet in the future. I feel like I can trust them. I haven't ever had that feeling with a vet before.

Great 4 Fearful Dogs

We are very satisfied with Dubblebees. I only wish they were opened Saturdays! The groomer is very kind and trustworthy. I explained that Mochi was a puppymill survivor and scared of all things. He worked his magic, and she is pretty calm when I go to pick her up. It is hard to get an appointment with Dubblebees because they are very much in demand and booked up for a month or more in advanced. I was lucky to get in as a new client.

Frick Dog Park

For the most part, owners are pretty good handling their dogs. Then there are those owners who are on their cell phones or expect someone else to babysit their rambunctious dog(s). There are also the understanding owners who see a small 6lbs. dog quivering in fear and make sure their dog doesn't bother them. There are more of the good owners than the bad owners. One problems it that this dog park is not entirely fenced in, and you can reach it through some bushes off of one of the trails.
