Campgrounds Park Road 41 Monahans, TX 79756 There are over 3,800 acres of sand dunes to explore at this park, as well as an interpretive program, hands on exhibits, and a working oil well. Due to buget cuts, the park may only be open from Thursday through Sundays. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, they must have current rabies and shot records, be on no more than a 6 foot leash, and be cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
