Hotels, Pet-Friendly Stores 805 Newman Springs Road Lincroft, NJ 07738 The original 1 ¼-acre off-leash area (now known as the “all dog area� because canines of all shapes and sizes are welcome) has been joined by a ¼-acre “small dog area� for dogs that weigh 35 lbs. or less. Also, additional trees were planted; a concrete walkway and a patio near the renovated entrance were poured; and the off-leash areas were overseeded with a traffic-resistant species of grass. In addition, plans are underway for benches and a person & pet drinking fountain, as well as some doggie play equipment. Many improvements were funded by the Friends of the Parks, a non-profit organization that was formed in 1991 to support the Monmouth County Park System’s mission, facilities, and programs.
