Top-Rated Dog Parks & Dog Runs
Dog Parks & Dog Runs Dilla Street Milford, MA 01757 The Upper Charles River Trail is a great place to bring your dog--it is a paved trail that twists and turns through old granite quarries, by lakes, streams and ponds. There are many trails off the paved trail that are great for exploring. Many dog owners let their dogs off leash as long as they are under voice command--bring a leash just in case.
The trail starts in Milford and will eventually create a 20-mile loop through Hopkinton, Ashland, Sherborn and Holliston. It is part of a state-funded project to convert an abandoned rail bed in six communities into a scenic, recreational path for bicycling, walking, cross-country skiing, roller-blading, and other non-motorized uses.
There are 3 parking lot locations in Milford:
1. The Louisa Lake Recreation Area Parking lot on Dilla Street
2. The Commuter Parking Lot on Main Street across from the Sacred Heart Church.
3. The Fino Field recreation area parking lot at the end of Granite Street.
