Help Your Dog be a Good Guest Campgrounds can be busy, unfamiliar, even overwhelming places for dogs. Perhaps your furry family member is an experienced camper who is ready to stay with us in our campgrounds. Whether you brought Squeakers the Great Dane, or Butch the Chihuahua, there are some basic courtesies we would like you to remember while you are our guest: Six foot leash rules apply to the entire property. The only time your dog may be off the leash is inside your camper, tent, or vehicle. Your dog is a guest at our property, but our wildlife lives here. Please respect our wildlife and plantlife. Please pick up after your dog. Bring along your extra plastic grocery bags to hold your doggy droppings. Please place the bags in the campground dumpster.

The dunes, the nature center, trails, and special programs throughout the year make this an interesting park. Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There are no additional pet fees. Dogs must be on no more than a 6 foot leash and be cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the trails, but from Memorial Day to Labor Day dogs are not allowed on the beach. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
