A daily or annual permit allows you and your canine companions to enjoy four uniquely different sites designed just for dogs. Annual permit fees in 2007 remain the same as they were in 2006: For Lake County residents: $44 for the first dog and $18 for each additional dog Out-of-county: $120 for the first dog and $56 for each additional With each permit purchase, you will receive An approved permit good at the four Dog Exercise Areas. Illinois Animal Rescue is a group of individuals, groups, volunteers, workers, veterinarians, independent rescuers, humane investigators, transporters, humane societies and organizations, shelters, not-for profit organizations, pounds, well... Just regular people, scattered throughout the state of Illinois and beyond. We strive for the rescue and humane care and treatment of the animals in our community, state and throughout our country. Together we are saving over 7,000 precious lives annually. Illinois Animal Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)(3), not for profit and no-kill. Our goals are to ensure that every animal is treated with the respect that they deserve; to educate our communities on the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to solve the pet overpopulation problem; the humane treatment and care of all animals and the rescue and transportation of the many animals that are being put to death in our communities every day, due to no fault of their own.
