The fenced in off leash dog area is located on the northwest trailhead. There are 2 acres of mowed turf and 34 acres of trails. You do need a permit to take your dog in, but they aren't very expensive for DuPage county residents. Generally there are a lot of dogs there, lately because of the heat there tends to be more in the 6:30-7 pm range.
