The Canine Ranch was built on a philosophy of providing a fun and enriching atmosphere for both dogs and humans. Our dog training philosophy has remained consistent in that we believe in being firm but fair with our dogs. We believe that dogs need to be educated on human, household and social interactions so that they have a clear understanding of right and wrong. We know that by providing a place that offers multiple dog sports in one location, that you and your dog are sure to find just the right sport or training solution for your canine team. And if that isn’t enough – we offer a great place to board your dog while you’re on travel. Most of the sport options we offer can be included in a board n train, or you can work on behavioral or obedience commands as well. The Dog's Place, located in Canton, GA, is a canine sports complex complex offering Agility Classes, Private Lessons, and 2 Fenced In Agility Fields for Trials and Seminar rental. The Dog's Place, is owned and operated by Don and Ginsey St. Croix who both compete in AKC and USDAA trials. Ginsey, the head instructor for The Dog's Place, is one of the leading experts in the sport of dog agility, with prestigious competition placements, published articles, a camp and class instructor, and an agility event commentator. She is one of few, professional trainers, who actually competes with various dog breeds and sizes, distinguishing her as an instructor with an authentic edge.
