Dog Parks & Dog Runs Nopal and Carrillo Streets Santa Barbara, CA 93103 Dogs are not officially allowed here and are explicitly not allowed during school hours. This secondary baseball and practice field is entirely fenced and has two trash cans, but no disposal bags. There are two baseball diamonds facing each other and open lawn in between them. Great for using the Chuck it or for doggie playdates. Evenings and weekends are the times to be here and always clean up after your dog since it is on school grounds.
There are also 6 connected tennis courts right next to this field that are lit at night and can allow for off leash running once you close all the outside doors. Great for labs who love to chase tennis balls. Bring your racket and go to town!

You can walk a loop of that beach heading south, go up the steps at Mesa Lane Beach and find yourself at the top of the bluffs on the Wilcox Property (AKA Douglas Preserve) which is also off leash friendly, with trash cans and poop bags available. the Wilcox Property/Douglas Preserve is a series of trails along the clifftop bluffs with 180 degree ocean views.

It is a de facto off leash allowed park. Many dogs and responsible owners are there right after work around 5 PM. The dogs there are usually pretty well socialized and respond to voice commands well.
