The family owned business at Shamrock Ranch has been working for three generations to provide the finest dog and cat boarding and training facility in the Bay Area. Nestled at the foot of scenic Montara Mountain, Shamrock Ranch is often well insulated from the wind and enjoys the Linda Mar Valley sunshine. As a member of ABKA (American Boarding and Kennel Association) we strive to provide a safe and cozy environment for our canine guests. We offer three different kennel sizes suited to the weight and height of the occupant. Each kennel contains a dry, heated indoor quarter with a doorway leading to a private outdoor dog run. The outdoor run is open and available for your pets' use day and night. The spacious heated interior is equipped with a raised foundation for sleeping.

Shamrock Ranch Kennels is a full service dog and cat boarding and training facility. It has two large agility fields and and expert trainer who can deal with any behavioral issues while your companion stays at the ranch. Shamrock is somewhat traditional, but offer alot of services and are trustworthy. They are adding alot of new services like doggie daycare and nature hikes which should be available in spring of 2010. I like the fresh air, open space, and calm atmosphere for my dogs!

The Rex Center doesn't really fit into the categories listed here, but it's a warm water facility where dogs of all kinds can come and take advantage of the many benefits that swimming offers. Dog training, massage, and acupressure are also offered.
