7160 W. Kearney Blvd
Fresno, CA 93706
This park consists of over 220 green acres with a variety of trees and plants. The park features several playgrounds, picnic tables, soccer fields, and the Kearny Mansion Museum. The Kearney Mansion was the home of M. Theo Kearney. It was constructed in the early 1900s. Kearny was a key Fresno land developer and agricultural leader. He was known as the "Raisin King of California" and formed the California Raisin Growers' Association. When he passed away in 1906, he donated his entire 5000 acre estate to the University of California. Thus 220 acres were developed into Kearny Park. Dogs on leash are allowed at the park, but not in the museum. The park is located about 7 miles west of Fresno off Kearny Road.
