7. Raw Feeding: Yahoo Group
There's an awesome amount of knowledge out there about how to successfully feed a raw diet. There are also some wonderful people who give up hour after hour of their time for free to assist people. This list will give you access to an amazing amount of knowledge from people who own just one dog, to those who feed a raw diet to in excess of 30 dogs. There are people on this list with pet dogs (of all breeds), the tiniest dogs, to the largest! We also have a huge number of people with top show dogs, through to racing dog (professional greyhounds), lure coursing dogs, working dogs, and dogs who provide special assistance to people. Whatever your type of dog, there is sure to be someone here just like yourself. The good news is you don't have to be a genius to work out how to feed a raw diet. You will need to do a bit of reading, and learn new ways of doing things, but in the general health of your dog or cat, it should well be worth it. I hope you get as much fun out of being on the list as is possible. We will try to keep on topic though! This list has been established for the discussion of raw feeding, not the politics of raw feeding. If you would like to discuss that the RMB Lobby group has been established for such discussion.

We service over 2000 veterinary clinics nationwide and in Canada. Plans are currently underway to develop other regional centers and a coordinated national effort to maximize the efficiency and use of existing inventory. 25. Green Tripe
Welcome to GreenTripe.Com. We are a small, family owned business. What started out several years ago as a "breeder's co-op" has grown beyond belief. In September of 2000, GreenTripe.Com became a small business. Our mission has always had two goals. The first is to help educate people about the benefits of feeding green tripe to their dogs. I've written several articles that have been published in dog magazines regarding this. Our second goal is to help people find sources for quality product at reasonable costs. We do ship nation wide, but sometimes, it is more affordable for someone to find a more local source…so that even means recommending our competitors! That's how committed we are about the benefits of feeding green tripe to the K9 members of your family. So who are we? Our names are Mary and Peter Voss and we have been involved with Afghan Hounds (both breeding and rescue) since 1989. Our kennel name is Afghans van Brabant and we specialize in performance events such as coursing and racing. You can see our dogs at Afghans van Brabant I have been practicing "Natural Rearing" for over 13+ years now and will only use the best quality of food for my dogs. Our products come from a mix of grassfed and organic dairy animals. We have recently opened our new facility in Hollister, California. Now, we are finally able to produce a product that we are proud to be associated with. We get and process our meat fresh daily. We now use a 1" size grind for all of our products, except the whole chunks of tripe. The new size grind is perfect for all size dogs. Again, we welcome you to our site and if there is anyway we can help you, please feel free to contact us. Thanks for your visit. Best regards, Mary C. Voss GreenTripe.Com

43. USDA CSA Publication
Community Supported Agriculture consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes, either legally or spiritually, the community's farm, with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production. Typically, members or "share-holders" of the farm or garden pledge in advance to cover the anticipated costs of the farm operation and farmer's salary. In return, they receive shares in the farm's bounty throughout the growing season, as well as satisfaction gained from reconnecting to the land and participating directly in food production. Members also share in the risks of farming, including poor harvests due to unfavorable weather or pests. By direct sales to community members, who have provided the farmer with working capital in advance, growers receive better prices for their crops, gain some financial security, and are relieved of much of the burden of marketing.

45. Meridian's raw site - pack lunch!
This site is a work in progress, started in June of 2006. It was originally inspired by my desire for a webpage detailing my favorite resources for learning about feeding raw so that I didn't have to type it out from scratch every time I wanted to share with other people over the internet. It has grown into a resources page, a page of photos of my girls at mealtime, a page of resources specifically for those here in southern Alberta, and a page of "extras" including a brief "how to" in a Q+A format. I plan on expanding and improving the site as time goes on, so check back for updates periodically. Thanks, and I hope you find Pack Lunch helpful! I can be found frequently in the Dogster forums participating in discussions about food & nutrition and general dog health. It's a fantastic place to learn and help others learn, and I'd love to see you there!

Who runs Netrophic? Netrophic is a website designed and maintained by me, Janine Costanzo. I am 22 years old, and I work as a web developer at Six Apart's I enjoy creating websites, among other things. What does Netrophic mean? The word "netrophic" is a word that I created. It is an adjective that is a combination of the words "net" and "trophic". The word "net" is a shortened form of the word "Internet", and the word "trophic" is a suffix that means "of or related to nutrition". In other words, a netrophic person is one that gets its nutrients from the Internet.
