Food? Where?!?

It's great that they are at least trying to make a better food, however, at almost $40 for a 30 lb bag, they aren't going to get people to switch from Ol'Roy or Pedigree. I can get a 30 lb bag of Taste of the Wild for 5 or 6 dollars more, so for what it is, the price is too high. There are lots of good mid range foods out there. I would be happier with this product if they would offer it at a lower price so that the people who are feeding their dogs lower quality kibbles would be more likely to switch. Because most people don't read the labels, they are going to see the price tag and then reach for the 50 lb bag of Ol Roy performance that they can get for $23.88.

Just my two cents.

Small Dogs > Can boy dogs wear a little bit of Pink?

The dogs don't care what color they wear. smile My boy dogs wear "girl" colors all of the time and my girls wear "boy" colors. All they care about is spending time with me, having toys to play with, and getting their dinner on time laugh out loud

As a side note, I have 3 male Guinea Pigs and right now they are on pink fleece with a lime green peace sign... they don't care either. Animals don't really buy in to the gender stereotypes like humans do.

That tends to happen around here as well. No one will have any problems and then all of a sudden everyone has to go to the vet. It's not great on the bank account, but whatayado? shrug Hopefully after you get that tooth taken care of it will be smooth sailing for a while wishes

Blue Wilderness and Blue Freedom are both great grain free foods. The original Blue, Blue limited ingredient, and their longevity lines are also great if you don't want to go grain free. They aren't as good as Orijen or some of the other super premium brands but they are on par with Wellness and the like. Definitely leaps and bounds better than Purina and SD.

laugh out loudThat's good to know Mika&Kai.

Once a wolf spider got into my house and my mom dropped a book on it to kill it. Bad idea, considering it had about 200 baby wolf spiders on it's back eekeekeek

BTW... if you are interested in what this would look like, and have a spider phobia of any magnitude... DO NOT google images of "wolf spider with babies on back" *shivers*.

I can handle spiders, but cockroaches will send me onto the highest piece of furniture in the room, screaming like a little baby. I know that they don't bite, but I am terrified of them.

As a child I was terrified of ALL dogs (ironic considering I now have 7). I attribute this to the fact that I was never around any dogs and the ones I was were my neighbors boxer who was chained and very aggressive whenever he broke off the chain and my other neighbors Jack Russell Terriers who were major nippers.

The dogs that changed me were two Doberman Pinschers that belonged to a family friend. At first I was terrified of them, however soon I came to realize that they were not in the least bit aggressive. The rest is history and I am no longer afraid of dogs regardless of breed.

I even picked up an injured Pit Bull in a Walgreens parking lot and brought her to my vet. A few moments after I picked her up and loaded her into my car I realized that I probably should have been more cautious considering she was in a considerable amount of pain, I had no idea about her temperament, and she was terrified.

The only animal that I am afraid of is my hamster (Bandit) who is a vicious little critter who enjoys attacking fingers and hands when they are placed in his cage. laugh out loud I swear he believes he is a badger or something.
