Ok so i bought kaitiee a martingale collar ( the one with the no pull noseband) and i took her to a dog "show" ( just a little spca thing) and everyone is telling eatch other stay away from that puppy over there it bites and then people would ask me does he bite?? and i replie no she does not. and she does not bit she just pulls on the lead some times. and then this crazy little kid with a black lab who is almost bigger tha him that he cant control come and gets in kaitiees face and scares kaitiee (whos already so nervous) and i told the little kid to leave please your dog is scaring my puppy. and he just rolls his eyes and says my dog aint botherin nobody and kaitiee snaps. she hollers screams and starts snarling and nipping at this dog snd everyone took the kids side saying that dog didnt hurt a thing and i told them that that dog got too close for too long kaitiee is already nervous ( first dog show) and i had to leav where i was sitting. as soon as we did our lap around the ring we left Does anyone have opinions or sugesstions about this if so please send them smile

Beatrix Kiddo Question
When will these dogs be gone for good?
Pit bulls.....I just don't get it. They're dangerous and so are the owners. Of all dog bites in the US, one-third are pit bull bites. I get it, I know it's the owner that makes the animal dangerous, but why is it that pit bulls are the #1 choice for dog fights?? It's because they're good at it and they're bred for it! These dogs should not be suburban pets where a child can be hurt!
Additional Details
dart: I have met one, and it bit my daughter. DANGEROUS animals!

Clifton's opinions are as interesting as his statistics. For example, he says, "Pit bulls and Rottweilers are accordingly dogs who not only must be handled with special precautions, but also must be regulated with special requirements appropriate to the risk they may pose to the public and other animals, if they are to be kept at all."

Dog Laws & Legislation > Dog Dies in the Iditarod

well i think that the iditarod is fine as long as you can take care of the dogs the right way. personally i think being a sled dog would be pretty awesome. but if you cannot keep the dogs well during the race or anyother time its not right. but thats just me and i feel sorry for the dogs.cry
