The voting ends tomorrow but, I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would vote for Annie. She is a blind Great Pyrenees and if she wins her Mommy is going to buy a ramp so Annie can get in and out of the car without panicking.

To just bathe Missy I have been quoted $40-$50, for a trim it would be $85.

I own an original and my friend owns a new one. They work the same mine just doesn't have a button to press the hair off of the blade.

I don't really agree with the muzzle suggestion personally. I try not to use a muzzle at all. I work with fearful and aggressive dogs from time to time and usually if you muzzle them they stress out even more. Now I have used an e-collar just so I don't get bit by the dog instead of a muzzle. I personally feel they stress out less wearing an e-collar over a muzzle.

As for doing it at home I definitely agree with Maxwell. Start him off slow and praise him for his good behavior. I would also start him on the Nothing In Life Is Free program just to form a bond with him.

I could see how people would think Ava was younger then 2 years old. She has a young look to her. Unlike Missy I guess who looks like she is 14 years or older. shrug

Missy has been called a Saint Bernard mix, Collie Mix and an old Golden Retriever.

I have actually had a lady call me a liar when I told her Missy's age. That lady swore Missy was at least 14 years old. shrug

It is possible that this tech felt more comfortable cutting nails then the previous one. So finding out what tech did them and sticking with that tech would be a good idea. As for the dremel sometimes if the person doing the nail is confident enough in their ability the dog can sense it and will relax for it.

I personally do my dogs nails myself but, I have been doing nails for a long time and worked with my dogs since they were puppies so now days they just fall asleep while I work on them.

By the third grooming I would have cut the sweater off like suggested earlier. As well as stripped the whole dog down because, clearly they aren't brushing her and taking care of her.
