I am very sorry. This is why I never go to low cost clinics. I stick with my regular vet for everything.

I doubt it. He looks like an American Foxhound or Treeing Walker Coonhound to me.

Fear aggression is still aggression. You need to get to the bottom of what is causing the problem. There is one simple rule to all canine behavioral problems; be the alpha. Use a slip lead and always watch him closely around other people and dogs. You should probably get professional help.

Food & Nutrition > Could thinning coat be due to poor diet?

Partially, yes. Make sure he is getting green leafy vegetables as a supplement to his diet, as they are full of vitamins and minerals. Feed a diet high in meat and rich in protein. Feed foods high in iron, give a vitamin c supplement or some fruit, and give a vitamin e supplement or some avocado oil. Thinning hair can be caused by gastrointestinal problems or a high-fat diet.

Thank you very much. The homecooked diet seems to work. Kibble and raw just didn't. They gained too much weight on kibble. I will try a few raw bones for dental health. Finlay has a very sensetive stomach. He can't eat any grains or he will vomit. I'm not sure how raw bones would work with him. Whitney loves meat. I'm sure she would love a raw bone. Aaliyah would eat anything if I let her. laugh out loud

Stop feeding for the next 12 hours. Don't let him drink for a few hours and after the fast is over feed a bland diet. You can also give an antacid, rub his stomach, and look at the vomit to make sure there is nothing black or bloody in it.

You should learn to recognize signs of aggression. Always put safety first and increase socialization. If you notice any aggression between the two make both of them sit, always be in control, and use a gentle leader instead of a regular collar or harness.

Are there any other symptoms? If the feeding habits have changed, this could be the problem and you should probably look at his diet. Have you changed anything else recently? Try feeding a high calorie diet that is palatable? You should probably see a veterinarian.
