If I had to make a bet I'd say a Maltese and a west highland white terrier(westie) mixed together. She looks so sweet with u in the profile picture where u are snuggling. U can tell she really loves you.

I have an Italian greyhound and it took a long time for him to accept pets from kids and they do not like sudden movements and loud noises which basically describes a child. I've seen beagles be very gentle with kids but also want to play with them.

| Barked: Sat Jun 15, '13 7:40pm PST | | | | | Blood in stool can be hge which is very serious and needs a vet visit. So if u see any more blood it may be a good idea to go to the vet. When my dog had it there was alot of good but the vet said the symptoms can vary. | | | | |

U should use probiotics during the switch their website www.stellaandchewys.com has a phone number and they will tell u all about it.

| Barked: Wed Jun 12, '13 7:45pm PST | | | | | Obviously your situation is different but I bought tshirts that block UV rays for sandy because Italian greyhounds can get skin cancer easily. They are custom made and not hot they are meant for summer. Today several people told me it was too hot for my dog to have clothes on. Sandy was not hot ( in fact he shivers when the wind blows, Italian greyhounds are skinny and almost hairless). I am trying to protect him from cancer and people think I'm abusing him. So I feel your frustration. | | | | |

The vet should be able to offer you medication and a sling( so u can get her up and walk her if she can't do it herself) so you can keep her comfortable. The family I babysit for had a golden retriever live to 16. Her last 6 months she needed a sling to go outside. But was still happy (wagged ger tail, loved pets, loved food).

| Barked: Sun Jun 9, '13 5:50pm PST | | | | | If u are worried about Polly and food you can crate feed your dogs or feed in separate rooms and not give them treats together. Or if your 2 dogs are ok with eating together just don't give food with other dogs present. All the food aggressive dogs I know are only fed in their crates and they get treats in there as well. Its a better safe than sorry method. | | | | |
