when someone isnt looking, grab all of the things in their buggy, throw them in the air, yell "KA-BLAM!" and run.
turn all of the televisions in the electronics section on teletubbies, or the wiggles, or something else annoying.
imitate characters from a movie/TV show
put all of the talking and singing toys in one place and turn them all on at once
take a bunch of things from the store, and set up a rube goldberg machine. to make it even better, make the object of the machine to fling a creme pie or something else messy, preferably at a customer, employee, or manager.
wear a darth vader mask and cape, and go around asking customers to "come to the dark side."
paint a fake elevator shaft, hang up a sign that says "out of order," hide, and whenever someone walks by, play a tape of screaming growing distant.
tie all the shopping carts together in twos, forming a line, and push it around the store claiming that you're a shopaholic if anyone asks.
put on a cameo helmet, face paint, and dark sunglasses with one lens, hide in a dressing room, making it unclear that its occupied, and if anyone opens the door, run at them holding out a bannana screaming, "yaaaaa!" then say, "oh, go ahead" and move to another room.
set up a crash pad of pillows, climb up a shelf, and toss down a cardboard cutout of yourself with a blanket for a parachute.
dim the lights, make noise, and project strange shadows onto walls to scare people.
get in the place where the people announce stuff on the PA, and start whacking the microphone and making funny noises, OR say "the store will be closign in one sec... oops, looks like your locked in, bye!"
another version of the above PA gag is to say " the store will be closing in 1 minute." to cause a mad rush. it'll be even better if you say "the new exit is through the managers office."
skateboard through the store, knocking over displays.
use a grappling hook to climb up shelves/displays in a rock climbing uniform, then yell "i made it!!"
