This run is coordinated by: Patti ORIGINAL POST: MoStar and Pap Haven Rescue are requesting your assistance in getting three 5# Papillons from their temp foster home in IL to their long term foster home in NJ. Camille, Banjo and Tuff are puppy mill surrenders and need to be treated as a high flight risk. I've spoken with their temp foster mom and she tells me that Camille is quite social, but the boys are a bit timid. The boys are not standard puppy mill shy, not tremendously skittish, but extra care needs to be taken. Since they all are an elevated flight risk, I'm setting potty stops for approximately every other leg. CRATE(S) will be provided by Pap Haven. Most likely one medium for the boys and one small for the girl. If you volunteer and you don't hear back from me, please check your spam folder. I generate so much email doing transports that some ISPs think I'm spam. I reply to ALL offers to help whether I need you or not. Please include a phone number in your offers to help so I have an alternate way of contacting you if needed. As usual, ALL legs are f-le-x-i-b-l-e. If you are in between stops, but willing to help, email me with your location and we'll discuss the possibilities of rewriting the run sheet to accommodate you. And while I too am a smoker ...I do not throw buts and empty packs anywhere but in the trash. I carry a portable ashtray with me. And tossing butts and empty packs is littering. Just as tossing gum and empty gum wrappers on the ground is. I would definately say something to the workers ...littering reguardless of what type of litter is wrong. When and if you do mention it I would strongly suggest that you bring it up as a littering issue. If you start it out against smokers they will close thier mind to your concerns. Bring it up as a litter concern ...and you'll have a better chance of being heard! Junior~Petun- ior Poop Pocket Poop!     Barked: Thu Feb 26, '09 2:04pm PST  Mommy carrys me around a lot. I go into lots of stores with her. I'm usually in her jacket. Most people seem pleased and want to give me a little pet they do. Here and there someone will stick thier nose in the air but not often. I am well trained and use a doggie door to do my duty where I'm suppose too. I live with 2 other chi's and a 74# lab mix. Mommy loves us dearly she do. Now as far as the guy that is irratated and doesn't want to put up wit us dogs in the store...Mommy just kind of shakes her head and says she puts up with others rude, loud and obnoxious kids...so they can just get over it...I sit quietly and don't ever leave mommy's jacket. Unlike the kids running around screaming, crying and throwing fits while mom and dad ignore them...not the kids fault....but it would be nice if parents would train thier children to be at least half as obediant and well mannered as they want peoples dogs to be! Nobody likes big ole slobbery kisses??? Come on guys, I had him temperament tested and he passed with flying colors.. He even likes other dogs... Bubba has rescue!!!!….Now he needs a ride. Bubba is 10 months old and a smiling fool. He is a true Bubba goober. No mean in him anywhere…Has been temperament tested and pasted with flying colors. His only bad habit is he will try to lick you to death. Bring a towel.. Please let me know as soon as you can if you can drive a leg or two....
