Food & Nutrition > Checkups or Kirkland brand dental chews? Which is better?
Toby
 Gimme, Gimme,- Gimme |
| Barked: Sat Jan 7, '12 12:17am PST | | | | | Toby is currently eating the Checkups brand of dental chews. How do these compare to the Kirkland brand (Costco) dental chews? I'm hoping either of these are better than Greenies, since we stopped buying Greenies. Thanks!! | | | | |

Puppy Place > Honest opinions - do playpens ever really work?
Molly
 I'm 100% Cute |
| Barked: Fri Oct 29, '10 10:56am PST | | | | | When we had Molly, we used the play pen for her. She was allowed to roam free in the house with us around, but when no one can supervise her, she stays in her pen. I know the pen is meant for outdoors, but we can fit it inside the house. I think there's a pic of it in one of her pics on her page. Her bed and toys are in her pen. We got the medium-sized one which is 3ft high, and she can't get out of it. Despite the fact that she can jump high. She was about 15lbs, and not getting much bigger, so it was perfect for her.
If your pup doesn't have a tendency to jump high or won't outgrow his pen quickly, definitely try it out. Hope that helps. | | | | |

Behavior & Training > How to start teaching to give a paw
Toby
 Gimme, Gimme,- Gimme |
| Barked: Thu Oct 21, '10 9:14am PST | | | | | We learned this in puppy class. What you do is hold the treat and circle it in front of your dog. Your dog will want the treat, and paw you. Click and treat. Once your dog gets the hang of it, you can put your hand out and when her paw touches your hand, you click. You can eventually do away with treat. Just say "paw" every time you practice, and she'll get it. | | | | |
