Probably Kennel cough. Your symptoms don't sound severe enough. Puppys normally play and then rest.
distemper

Even if it is a light case of distemper, with good care dogs get well.

That's great. Any news about getting on top of all the spambots? I think we are all tired of the pages of bogus posts that fill the forums.

Your diet doesn't sound balanced. Many people on the raw forum feed prey model raw,Frankin prey, not BARF.

We have a great tool for balancing a raw diet from one of our members. I couldn't find it in the forum, maybe another member has it bookmarked or if you paw mail me, I will send you the spreadsheet.

Bad guys are going to look at the huge barking dogs and look for a different target. If you or your family is threatened, I am sure they would find their teeth at that point.

Shoot, people look at me and go the other way and huskies are one of the worst watchdogs one could ever have.

When she no longer has good days, when she has no quality of life, when she no longer wags her tail, when she is suffering, that will be the time.

If her eyes say she isn't ready, she isn't.

hug Keep her comfortable, love her. You are doing the right thing. hughughughughughughughug

You really need a solid fence for both your dogs, but especially for the chi. He is too little to be left outside unprotected. A big tom cat, a hawk, anything could take the little guy. He is also too small to wear an electric collar that the underground fence would trigger to keep him in.

If you can't afford a fence, maybe look into a kennel so your dogs can go outside safely.

PS tying dogs out is not a good idea unless you are right there with them and never, never, never put a collar on a chi to be used with a leash. They can easily get a collapsing trachea. Always use a harness if you have them on a leash.

Your dog has an ear hematoma. Very painful, you need to take him to your vet ASAP to get painkillers and to get it treated.
