	Hi All! I'm entered in a pet contest on facebook to be mountain maryland's march mascot. If any of you have facebook pages, please vote for me. So far I'm in the lead but other pets are quickly catching up. I've gotten some flack for being a maltese as some have said I'm not mascot material. Please help me show them maltese make great mascots!!! 	Hi All! Well... the contest has ended and the final votes have been counted. Just wanted to thank all of you who've followed my entries about the mascot contest and all who voted (and asked friends to vote). Thanks to all of you... I won with a total of 321 votes. It was an exciting contest especially in the last hour when I was behind by 15 votes. My family and friends were able to gather enough votes to put me 19 votes ahead of the dog in second place!!! I've won the title of Mountain Maryland's mascot for the month of March, a $25 gift certificate to a pet store in my area (which I will be donating to the local animal shelter) and a photography session with a professional photographer!
